Colborn, of Chicago, died Wednesday at 8:3 0 oŁuclock of heart disease, at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Dr. Bell, at the age of 42 y ears. Mrs. Colborn had been with her sister, Mrs. Bell, since the 9th of February, at whic h time she was brought from Chicago by Dr. Bell in a very precarious condition. NEATH THE HAND OF DEATH Mrs. B. B. Colborne Many in Janesville will be pained to learn of the death of Mrs. B. B. Colborne, formerly Mis s Ella Bowen of this city. Her death occurred on Wednesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. D r. Bell, of Beloit (WI), where she had been for nearly a year under medical treatment for hea rt trouble. Mrs. Colborne was a daughter of the late Hiram Bowen, at one time publisher of T he Gazette, and resided in Janesville many years. She leaves beside her husband, three child ren, also two sisters, Mrs. Dr. Bell, of Beloit, and Mrs. Hattie Kershaw, of Helena, Montana , three brothers, Wheeler S. Bowen, of the Yankton (S. D.) Dakotan, formerly City Editor of t he Gazette, Will Bowen of Los Angeles, Cal., and Marvin Bowen, of Alexandria, South Dakota . The funeral will be held from Dr. BellŁus residence in Beloit on Saturday afternoon at 2 oŁu clock. W. S. CROSSED THE DARK RIVER Mrs. Ella Colborne Mrs. Ella Colborne died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dr. Samuel Bell, of Beloit, on Wednes day morning at the age of forty-two years. She was brought from Chicago to Beloit in Februar y by Dr. Bell. Mrs. Colborne will be remembered by many in Janesville as Ella Bowen, daughte r of the late Hiram Bowen of this city. She leaves a husband, B. B. Colborne, three childre n and two sisters - Mrs. Dr. Bell and Mrs. Hattie Kershaw, of Helena, Mont., and three brothe rs - Wheeler S. Bowen, of Yankton, South Dakota; Will P. Bowen, of Los Angeles, Cal; and Marv in Bowen of Alexandria, South Dakota. The funeral will b held from the residence of Dr. Bell , in Beloit, this afternoon at two oŁuclock. Wheeler Bowen will arrive from Yankton, Dakota , to attend the funeral. The Janesville friends of the deceased will be pained to learn of h er untimely demise.
