[1] The 1850 US Census indicates that Laura was born in Ohio. She was living with her parent s and three siblings in Madison, Lake Co, OH. Laura was listed as Cornelia, age 2y at the tim e of the census (July 15th) which conflicts with her June 1849 birthdate. She would have bee n only 1y old in 1850.(see Charles Wheeler for the complete record)[1] 1860 US Census Del l Prairie, Adams Co, WI - (photocopy - see father) The record shows Laurie living with her p arents and three of her siblings, Adelaide, Evaline, and Charles. Laurie was shown to be 11 y ears old at the time of the census on August 8th. This supports earlier birth records.Fiv e children: Bryon, Nannie, Adelaide, Calvin Wheeler, Marion
