Notes

At the time of the Indian attack on Cherry Valley, she and her three daughters, Jane, Abigail and Mary were captured by Indians. The oldest daughter, Jane, married a British Col. named Powell and they moved to upper Canada. Through them, the mother and other two girls were released and sent home in about 18 months. Abigail Moore, the second daughter married David Culley. The third daughter, Mary Moore, married Matthew Culley, brother of David Culley. This information found in a paper on file in the Los Angeles Public Library.
