Notes

Came to America in 1828 arriving in New York. Went Rochester, where they lived out there lives. A very successful and hard-working man, providing well and was respected by all who knew him. He and his fo the Reformed Presbyterian Church, and contributed their means to the support of worthy charities. In 1840 he bought four hundred acres of land in same year John Campbell Jr. went out to look after Source: Portrait and Biographical Record Marion and Chapman Publishing Co. June 1895, Chicago, Ill. Obituary states that John was ordained as an Elder
