Olive was born in Perry, Ohio, on November 21, 183 7 and came to Ca in 1908. She returned to her eastern home in 1913 for an indefinite visit a nd came back to Galt in 1916. Shortly after her arrival here she was stricken with paralysi s and has been practically an invalid since that time. Her advanced age militated against re covery and she steadily grew worse until last week when death came to her relief. The only n ear relative left is her daughter, though there are other more distant kin folk in the stat e of Washington and Ohio. The remains of deceased were taken to Stockton Thursday August 2 8 where cremation followed. Found by reasearcher, Jim Walton, the 1860 census for Ohio shows Jehial and Olive Cook and so n. The 1870 census shows Hiram and Olive Owen and Hirams children and the Cook children. Th e 1880 census shows Lucias and Olive Sinclair with the Cook boys and Agnes Owen.
