              The panarama above is looking south with Limavady just below and the Sperrin Mountains to the left and Lough Foyle to the right.
              This land grant area was in the most furtile area of Ulster.

 

 

  Rapids The Roe River starts in the mountains south and flows north
through the valley and provided power for mills.
   
 
The Roe Bridge in Limavady was originally built about 1700.
