These four manuscripts were all written within 5 days of the April 7th, 1780 raid. Put into the chronological order in which they were written, and knowing where they were from April 7th through April 12th gives us a good picture of the raid. This information has been reported in exagerated tails, in incomplete histories, and studied by historians. By combining the primary documents into one source, I hope to paint a more clear picture of this snapshot in time.
