Many thanks to Ruth Coleman of Westford, MA for this wonderful descendant information of the Hendry family. Samuel Hendry was the 4th and last child born to James Hendry and Mehitabel Hall. James Hendry was killed on 8 Apr 1780 in the "Sugarbush Massacre" in Harpersfield, NY. At that time, Samuel Hendry was 16 days short of his 1st birthday.
